Klaus Rinke will take over the Nave, a monumental space open to the exterior, devoting to producing of reviving large scale installations. The German artist once again reworks ‘Instrumentarium’, a landmark sculpture at the Centre Pompidou in 1985. By combining the waters of big rivers crossing Europe, from the Danube to the Loire, the work that is revived in Tours is an opportunity for a more comprehensive examination of contemporary artistic, cultural and geopolitical issues linked to water.
